Now that you have applied or reapplied for the SASSA SRD R350 Grant for
2022 to 2023, you may now check the progress of your application online. Here below is how to check R350 grant status online.
SRD Grant Status Change
The SRD Grant status may change monthly depending on your
circumstances. For example, if SASSA does a database search and find that
you are now receiving NSFAS which you were previously not receiving, your
status may change to approved to one that shows that you are receiving NSFAS. Similarly, if they found that you have been registered on the Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF), your status may change to ‘UIF Registered’.
If your status says ‘UIF Registered’ you must make sure that you get
removed from UIF database before you apply for reconsideration or make
an appeal for a declined application.
