Duties & Responsibilities
This role calls for a seasoned professional to:
- Meet and exceed the agreed Turnover targets
- Engage and present company to new clients in the region, including cold calling to arrange client meetings
- Understand clients’ travel needs and present the most appropriate travel solution and business value
- Evaluate participation and take lead on all bids (RPFs, RFIs, RFQs, and Tenders)
- Work closely with account management and implementation teams on handovers of new clients.
- Build relationship at all levels company’s global partner network
- Responsible for global RFP responses and pricing
- Incorporate Company’s global marketing formats and structures within company travel connections format.
- Implement and manage account teams on new global accounts to ensure global KPA’s requirements are being set up and managed
- Ensure profitable and sustainable business solutions
- Coordinate with Global Systems team on costing and absorbing of global solution and ensure recovery from local customers
The ideal candidate has:
- Sales/ Marketing Diploma (equivalent to NQF level 5 is preferable)
- 5-8 years’ experience in travel or hospitality industry
