Introduction
To ensure efficient operation of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) by providing strategic leadership support, by coordinating the company-wide goals into a coherent plan understood by all; management and co-ordination on project deliverables (as defined by the CEO from time to time ), stakeholder liaison and the management of communication in and out of the CEO’s office.
Duties & Responsibilities
: Knowledge and understanding of:
- Government priorities and imperatives.
- The Company and regulations, and other relevant legislation – e.g. the National Strategic Intelligence Act; the National Archives of South Africa Act; the Promotion of Access to Information Act.
- Performance monitoring, evaluation and reporting frameworks, systems and processes.Relevant legislation and regulatory requirements namely the Company, Treasury Regulations and Frameworks on performance information and strategic plans.
- Communications and information management legislative requirements.
- All Public Service systems.
- Sound understanding of the tourism industry with a niche focus on the business tourism industry, locally and internationally
5-8 years Project Management/Business Management or Administration/Communication experience or a related field.
Knowledge of the Tourism industry, and an understanding of the Tourism KZN mandate.
Proven track record of performing within a diverse and dynamic internal and external environment and diverse teams.(and additional training if applicable)
Desired Experience & Qualification
A Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Project Management/Business Management or Administration/Communication or equivalent.
