Our client is a multinational within the Leisure & Hospitality industry with its global head office in Paris.

Duties & Responsibilities

The candidate will carry out the following duties:

  • Develop Indirect Sales in line with the upscale and digital strategy
  • Ensure Business Volume is cashed-in and the commercial contribution target is achieved
  • Manage commercial, contractual and operational relations with Clients (Trade leisure and Corporate Markets)
  • Define, implement and adjust commercial plan in line with the upscale strategy & ensure outstanding operational execution of projects (Incentives & conferences) In a multinational strategy work in partnership with all other department managers
  • Manage sales team and develop their competencies in line with BU HR processes Responsibilities
  • Be responsible for Indirect cashed-in BV & sales contribution
  • Be co-responsible in building and attaining the country’s budget (BV & sales contribution)
  • Be co-responsible for the brand image & positioning of the business within the upscale strategy
  • Be co-leader of “Country Marketing & Sales plan” process
  • Be responsible for Corporate Business development (MICE), deal signatures and projects good completion (operations)

Desired Experience & Qualification

We are looking for the following:

  • Relevant qualification
  • Proven track record within travel and hospitality in South Africa
  • Having outbound experience from South Africa
  • Dealing with leisure or corporate markets
  • Indirect channel experience
  • Experience in trade leisure would be ideal
  • Strong B2B sales experience
