What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)
You will be addressing all customer related enquiries. You will also be tasked to arrange and optimise all transport and warehousing processes as required. You will prepare and update national and international freight options/comparison. Assist with preparing and optimising consolidated shipments and source local packaging. You would also need to prepare reports to Management on invoiced sales per customer/products.
Where you’ll be doing it
Your new office is based in Cape Town. Our client designs, plans, procures and ships complete photovoltaic systems as well as single components. Their portfolio covers the whole range of PV technologies, from large commercial projects to power supply for remote rural areas.
They boast with more than 25 000 projects over 35 years’ experience in the industry nationally and internationally!
What you’ll need
A minimum Matric qualification with a diploma or degree in operations, marketing or logistics. 2 years’ logistics experience, this will include import and export regulations and procedures, sea, air and road freight pricing and country specific certification. Excellent customer service and marketing skills. You must be fluent in English and Afrikaans and if you can speak German it will be highly advantageous
